We
met in 1999 but lived 3000+ miles apart. Jeff convinced
me to take a chance-- and I watched in quiet awe
as our story unfolded. We travelled back and forth
on several short trips for almost a year before
I introduced Jeff to my daughters. Somehow, we envisioned
a life together.
On
one of his weekend trips to visit us, my 4 yr old,
Ashley, asked Jeff why he had to leave again so
soon. Jeff explained that he had to go to work and
his boss would be waiting. Ashley said, "the
next time you see your boss, tell him: I quit!"
In
2003, Jeff quit his job in Ligonier PA, sold his
house and car, bought a ring, and moved to the west
coast.
From
an early age, I mapped out my strategy to earn my
first million. In elementary school, I biked down
to the gas station, bought entire containers of fireballs
and bubblegum and sold them to my classmates for a
profit. I drenched toothpicks in cinnamon and sold
them for a 25¢ a bag. Well, I didn't quite reach
my goal. I've always worked hard for my money. I've
tried selling Kirby vacuums, multi-level marketing,
and eventually discovered my passion for the stock
market. I've had some degree of success trading, but
I wanted something that Maria and I could do together.
When we came across this business, we weren't looking
to generate extra income, we were looking for a way
to obtain financial freedom so we could travel the
world with our kids. Three years ago, it would have
been hard to envision this as a realistic possibility,
now we're on our way.
At 28, I found myself alone with my three beloved
little girls aged, 9, 6, and 3, and our golden lab,
Boz. I was determined to make a life for us, so I
took out thousands of dollars in student loans, went
back to school and then went to work for a dot com.
I really struggled to make ends meet and raise my
girls.
When
Jeff came along, I did everything I could to talk
him out of a relationship with me/us. In the meantime,
I continued to work hard and gradually things improved.
Jeff would not budge, so we welcomed him into our
happy but chaotic lives. The girls are now older and
I have a successful career, but I still feel as if
I have much to make up for. There are so many things
we'd like to share with our girls. There's so much
of the world for us all to see.
I wanted to find a business that I could believe in
100%. I'd tried multi-level marketing and still have
bad memories of stockpiling products and trying to
motivate people to have bigger dreams. Now I enjoy
working with a select few individuals just like myself

This
